Ducks in the Sun

The dogs got gifts, too: identical, fairly large squeaky ducks, which intimidate them both a bit. Here Sirius is bravely posing with them for a photo.

We will keep the mattresses in the living room/next to the Christmas tree till tomorrow. I have to say, I am sleeping unusually peacefully with the dogs, HD, and LM all on one pile. I guess the hippy families opting  for the "family beds" may be onto something??? Either that, or I am FINALLY relaxing... ;- )
