Mountain hares!!

After a day indoors it was good to be back out. A good walk around Dovestone and we took the path up Chew Valley in the hope of seeing mountain hare. Tried a couple of times but we've never been successful. It wasn't looking good as it was very cloudy/foggy. Extra shows how little we could see!
However, like ghostly white figures, there were a few hares scattered about in their winter coats :) photos were dreadful due to the cloud but I managed to get one that you can see!
Plenty of grouse to be heard too, but not seen.
Very happy to have seen those hares today!
