Loch Leven

After all the indulgence of the last couple of days, a walk in the fresh air was in order, so we drove to Loch Leven.  TJ and M headed off for a 10 mile walk round the loch, while J and I took a much more sedate stroll down to the little beach in the photo and then ambled back up the hill again.  I spent ages trying to photograph a pair of swans, who were determined not to look up together, but my patience was eventually rewarded (see Extra).

A phone call from M to ask us to pick them up by the roadside after their hike, which we duly did and then it was home again for yet another enormous meal.  No need to eat again for a week and J and M will be taking food parcels back home with them when they leave tomorrow:-)  It has been so lovely to have them here over Christmas and they will be missed.
