Become a bit slow in uploading photos recently. I've been taking a photo every day, but I just haven't put them online. Not good enough. I'll try to do better, but I haven't taken a photo for today yet! So we'll see what tonight brings.

Anyway, Friday the 13th and Valentines Day. My Friday the 13th was uneventful, apart from one of my students telling me the lesson was tedious. A part of me was sad about that, but the other part of me was happy that she knew the word tedious! To be honest, it was quite a boring lesson, they can't all be amazing can they!? :)

So, Valentines Day in Japan is a little different to your Western VDay. On Feb 14th, girls give boys, their friends, and collegues chocolate. The boys don't give anything until March 14th, which is named 'White Day'. (I'm not sure why it's called that...). They don't even have to give chocolate if they don't want to! So the girls have to wait a whole month, and then they might not even get anything back!

I didn't give any chocolate, because I was scared to. Im my head, giving presents on that day means you fancy them. No matter how hard I try, I cannot get away from that notion. So, I played dumb. No chocolate for me on White Day then!

I did go shopping for chocolate for my boyfriend though, and saw this brilliant Valentine's Day card. Many Thanks.... who comes up with this stuff!!
