A walk in the woods

We finished giving the study it’s first coat of paint and decided that we needed a Boxing Day walk to blow away the cobwebs. It was muddy but mild and we navigated our way around friendly dogs and family groups (one of which was having a barbecue amongst the trees no less) before coming upon an impromptu tepee. You get quite a lot of that sort of thing on Horsell Common. Always lots of wood lying around.

We had another vegan roast dinner made up of yesterday’s leftovers when we got home, which was even better than the original. Watched the rest of Home Alone; don’t think I’ve seen it since the kids were small. Funny but the older you get, the shorter familiar films seem ...
