Bambi

Today was the day to pick up our venison form the estate. Not a huge beast but DS#2 enjoyed cutting it up into smaller peices - partly under the tuition of DS#1 via a video call.
With picking up the ordered meat form the butcher too, we have supplies to keep a carnivore from starvation for several weeks. Sprouts were harder to find and I ended up, after three shops, procuring what were probably the last two bags of sprouts on the isles.
Down the road to A&S for Christmas Eve drinks with significant numbers of their family. Tricia managed to drink several Christmas cocktails and found the evening somewhat blurred thereafter. Dinner a suet game pie created by DS#2 and myself - good traditional English fare.
