A Hopeful Recession

With the warmer days we've had in the past week or so, the snow and ice have been receding from the roads, rooftops, ponds, and streams. Not only was this stream frozen just a week or so ago, but it was buried under a foot or two of snow. I hope the worst of winter is behind us. Today was a cool day, just hovering above freezing, but a sunny one -- perfect for getting outside with the dogs and enjoying the sunshine!
