Lovely day

Today Henry and I made the most of my last day of annual leave and went shopping. I took him in the sling and I was pleased I did because you've never seen anyone so impressed with an escalator in your life! He kept looking outside then looking at me with a big grin on his face saying "wooooow!"

We did some shopping then went to John Lewis for a well deserved hot chocolate and piece of cake for me, and milk and a wafer biscuit for Henry. He enjoyed clambering all over the sofa and let me eat my cake in piece for a change!

We went home and he had a 2.5hr nap and I made Neil's dinner (lamb koftas), did the online food shop, finished my Christmas shopping and got pinned under a baby for an hour with a full bladder.

The evening was rounded off by being forced to read the same 4 books over and over again, then lots of giggles and cuddles and now it's bedtime! New job starts tomorrow, although its only induction for the first 2 days, first proper day is on Friday.
