Salt Dough

I was so excited to try multiple Pinterest ideas with salt dough... Handmade Christmas presents. Our dough turned out great and everyone was excited about the project. We did handprints and footprints and even fingerprints on the trees you see above. I put our works of art in the oven, checked back 45 minutes later and all of ornaments puffed up losing all our prints in the process. Sigh. It did give a nice effect to the trees but our other prints were a complete loss. Bummer! Maybe we will try again this weekend.
