Fish Kettle Row

This year we had an advent calendar that had tiny houses, trees, shops and other village buildings to assemble!  We took it in turn to make them and put each new one on top of the kitchen dresser every day, up in front of the Fish Kettle!  Last one today and it was the church, with its steeple.

A phone call first thing from the vet's telling us that Ollie's ashes were ready to collect.  They are in a beautiful blue pottery urn shaped vase made by Tain Pottery.  Now that we have them, I'm not in a hurry to scatter them.  As Lady Findhorn said to me, it is just comforting to have  them near you.
