Commando Memorial
A number of years ago, whilst travelling through Scotland I came across the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge in the Lochaber region.
Unveiled by the Queen Mother, in 1952, it commemorates those of the famous WW2 Commandos who trained in the region prior to taking the war to the Germans on the continent.
2 years ago, whilst in Fort William, I came across a resin model of the Memorial and I just had to buy it.
