The naked gnome

Our friend leonie from Australia gave us this little chap about thirty years ago as a leaving present when she was a visiting doctor at the hospital. He was originally very colorful, painted beautifully by prisoners. He has been in our garden keeping watch ever since and I was just thinking today that we could paint him again. I love the expression on the sunflower and the gnome's eyes have remained bright and twinkly.
