The only bus in the village

There was much excitement in the morning as we caught the once weekly bus to Yeovil for a wander and some last minute shopping treats. Then in the afternoon it was into Sherborne for a trip to the Abbey, which really is quite stunning when you’re not sitting in it as a bored school kid. We recovered from the day’s excitement with sherry and snowball drinking, so we’d all sleep well with Santa’s impending visit.
