... with fiddling.

Looked at some houses today with my friend Jane. We laugh a lot when we are together. She is a realtor and represented me in the purchase of my condo and the sale of my home. I'm just sniffing around to see what there is out there. Not much as it turns out. But I do like looking at houses. The two today had a few interesting bits, like a fantastic view from one and a cute odd house on the other. But both needed lots of care and work and were over priced.

I visited Shelly afterwards because I was in his neighborhood. He was cooking the kugel for tomorrow's dinner. We are down to ten now as one of our friends has a nasty cold. And another couple is leaving the next day for a trip and it was just too much. But ten is a good number so we'll be fine.

I took a walk today in the sun. It has been raining a lot so I couldn't pass up a chance to walk. That's where I took this photo of my shadow. The woods here don't hold a candle to my favorite park near my old house. But still, it was nice to be outside smelling the fresh air and bathing in the sunlight.

It's late. Time to head to bed. Shelly is here tonight. He's going to help me get ready for the party tomorrow. The kugel is in the fridge waiting to be baked tomorrow, along with the rockfish I'm baking. And the veggies I'm making. The pie is in the cool of the garage as the refrigerator is full. It is beginning to feel festive.
