Ascending to Mam Meadail

Not a terribly promising start to the day, but we were promised maybe a bit sunshine from 2 o'clock. We took a boat to the head of Loch Nevis where we had an interesting landing as local politics wouldn't allow us to use the pier! Anyhow our group then split with those heading home tonight crossing Finiskaig river and running out through Glen Dessarry to their cars, while those that were remaining another night returned to Inverie over Mam Meadail.

As you can see we got the promised sunshine which was then followed by a gorgeous sunset as we descended towards Inverie.
