Lille

Our annual overnight trip to Lille to take in the Christmas sites and fill up the car with wine and cheese.

Lille certainly knows how to decorate itself for the season, the lights are memerising and the shops look absolutely beautiful - they do it much better than us I'm afraid to say.

It was properly crispy and cold, we bundled up and clutching our Christmas gift lists tried not to buy things for ourselves attempted to seek out gorgeous trinkets for our nearest and dearest.

After a 5.30am start we just about made it through dinner, which rounded off a smashing day perfectly.
