Christmas eve

We made gingerbread today... 

And this is why I never bake for school events - as it's possibly the worst gingerbread house in the world... 

It's been hectic recently
Work, study, training... Then December arrived... and following the school show/nativity (height of cuteness) the onset of the winter lurgy....

Tiddlypom had Bronchitis, I've had Sinusitis, Dave got a cold,  we've been out of action for about 3 weeks... So all of a sudden it's Christmas and we're not quite ready for it... 

Dave's headed off today to see his Dad,  so we're doing Christmas as a two part-er… Me, mum and Little un are celebrating tomorrow,  and then we do it all over again when Dave gets back in a few days...

But for now,  the lights are twinkling... tiddlypom is tucked up asleep...me and mum are watching films with a glass of fizz on the go-  we have chocolate and badly made gingerbread to eat,  and presents wrapped for little un...
