Drama Queen

Ms American Crow was going for a 'third' peanut when I took this photo. Each morning when I put raw peanuts out, it's 'imperative' that I deposit the Squirrels' peanuts in the 'Squirrel Feeder' otherwise the Crows will chase  the little TreeRats away and gobble up ALL of those delicious goobers! They are very aggressive pushy aggressive birds! And never mind that they are very large birds, they also arrive in their typical 'Mob' of 5 or 6 individuals, overwhelming any other birds who happen to be in their way! Of late, I've been waiting until later in the morning, after the crows have been through, to put out any 'special' goodies like an additional feeder of BarkButter. Such Drama! 

Tonight we celebrate the Visit of Sandy Claws. TARA and Maica get to open their 'presents'. Usually the same toys they received last year, cleaned up and put away once they tired of playing with them. Maybe a tasty 'chew' or two and some Dog Cookies! All of this merriment plays out to the sound of their very favorite song...Jingle Bells, sung of course by a trio of Canines!
