Through the Square Window

We had a busy morning getting the house ready for tomorrow.I did the housework and D prepared vegetables for tomorrow’s lunch.

This afternoon we wandered down to Henny and Anton’s for a lovely afternoon of eating, drinking and chatting. There were a lot of people there who we only catch up with once a year, usually at The Bickerstaff’s annual Christmas do. Ninja was there and I have to admit, she gave me the idea of taking a photo from outside looking in. We were back home at a civilised hour and managed to persuade the children to join us for a few rounds of Articulate which was a very nice and rare treat.
Poppy has now disappeared back to her room but Alfie is staying with us to watch a film!
We’re hoping they won’t be too late to bed so that Father Christmas can pay a visit. .
