Memory Lane

After some watering this morning I drove down to Shropshire to pick Mavis up for Christmas.A very easy round trip with not much in the way of traffic.

Helens Mum has brought some old family albums with her for Becky to have a look at.In the picture is Mavis (on the right)and her friend Gillian on holiday in Rhyl 1955.
What surprised me looking through the old pictures was how well dressed and smart the women of that era were compared to today.Perhaps it was because most were slim and the fashions were so much better.Do we still have fashion today?Or is it as it appears to be just any old trash and no style.
