Crab Apples

I didn't realise there would still be crab apples left on any trees at this time of year, but we came across this tree on Selkirk Hill on a gentle dog walk this afternoon. I was trying to find interesting photos for the upcoming monochrome competition with my camera club, and my sister decided to bring her camera along too. I'm finding monochrome a little tricky because I like colour so much!
