Tess

Granny duties this morning taking over from the other granny. T and K were out beating and picking up with the two other dogs while Tess stayed at home.  Baby I was a treat and actually went to sleep after lunch for an hour and a half.  Just as well as we all went to the carol service this evening in the little church next door.  While we were there her ma noticed a big black spider wandering over the wall next to her!  She successfully distracted baby I away from it as she would have picked it up in her hands and then the service would have been severely disrupted with panic and screams!  T came to the rescue and swapped places with them while the other granny sitting behind them looked on in horror until it disappeared between the side of the wall and the pew.  After the service was over we were served mulled wine and Christmas eats.  A good time was had by all.
