Chrissy Drinks

We had some friends over for Christmas drinks this afternoon. I made far too much forgetting that everyone eats a main meal at lunchtime, especially on a Sunday. I made Zucchini Slice, party pies and sausage rolls. I had to improvise for the sausage rolls as you can't buy sausage mince over here. I used Leberkäse which is finely ground meat mixture baked like a meat loaf. It worked quite well. 
I also served lots of biscuits, chocolates and cookies which were washed down with a fair bit of Glühwein and Prosecco. A good size dent was made in the goodies but there is a lot sitting in the freezer this evening. The left over chicken/avocado and smoked salmon/cream cheese sandwiches will be eaten for lunch tomorrow as our main Christmas meal will be eaten in the evening. That will probably be over the top, as well.
