I went for a little stroll up Nescliffe this morning and it was quite the contrast to the same time last year. I wanted snow again so desperately this christmas, but all we got was grey.

Fati & Ali came over this afternoon, en route from London to Plealy for Christmas. Lovely to catch up over a mince pie.

This evening we went to Nine Lessons and Carols at St Chad’s with Roddy and Lucy and it was beautiful. I love the way that the service weaves it’s way from Genesis to the birth of Jesus, accompanied by the most incredible music. The evening ended with some fantastic grub at the Loopy Shrew. A good Christmas Eve Eve.

Three thousand blips. I would have liked to celebrate it with something more than an iPhone pic but that’s the reality of my blipping these days.
