Lola's first Christmas card!

I am so organised this year that I've even run out of excuses not to do the ironing!  So I did some whilst watching Delia's Countdown to Christmas on the telly.  

OMG!  I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry!  I know it was filmed a number of years ago but even so, did women really put themselves through the torture of doing all she suggests?  That said, she did mention you could perhaps have an hour off on Christmas morning to open your presents between infusing the milk for the bread sauce with onions and cloves, and pickling your walnuts!  Jeezeypeeps Delia.  You are the standard bearer for the domestic slave!

Ele and Kenny arrived mid afternoon and we headed to our favourite local Italian Deli for coffee and cake.  Coconut and raspberry and toffee apple were the cakes of choice and very delicious they were too.

Ele and Kenny were staying over so it was back to ours for a very relaxing evening of chat, some tv and G&T. 

Had to blip Lola's Christmas card from Ele and Kenny.  They're dafter than us! :D
