A Brilliant Day

The sun was shining for the second day in December and it was beautiful. We did a little trip to the Backies as L calls Stokkseyri and Eyrarbakki. In Eyrarbakki we saw a car burning wildly, right there in the drive-in. Lots of people were watching but no fire brigade was there. A few minutes later the police arrived with blinking lights and a little behind two fire trucks. Apparently it’s not a common occurence in this place...
