Festive Robin
Backblip
Felt quite a lot better today and managed to get out for an hour or so. It wasn't that nice, but it wasn't as cold as I was expecting. It was also quite quiet at the flash both people wise and bird wise, but I guess people are getting ready for the big day.
Popped over to spend the afternoon with mum and dad who are in remarkably good spirits. Mum's back is almost better so we are convinced that it is not affected by her cancer which is good news and she's had the results of all her scans now. She will start immunotherapy on 3rd January - 4 sessions over 3 months and then they will scan her again to see if it has had any effect.
We have decided to "order" the following and are staying very positive
- no side effects from the treatment
- complete removal of all cancer cells in her body :)
It's not completely out of the question, and she is as fit as she can be at 77 years old and is still going to the gym 3 times a week, but we also know that it's possible that it might not work. But then there are other treatments she can have after that.
Fingers crossed everybody.
