First, or last?

I'm not sure whether to call this the first snowdrop of the season, or the last snowdrop of the year. I noticed today that I had four of them blooming, these two in front of my Buddha.

The turkey has been collected, all the shopping has been done, and 'It's a Wonderful Life' has been watched. Christmas can now begin.
