This terms whole school family homework challenge is to make a 3d, self standing nativity figure between 75cm and 100cm. Primary one kids were allocated the shepherds. So Helen and her Mum created - David MacGregor - as Helen unprompted, christened him.
I have already eye-balled some of the other shepherds and I don't think the kids have had much of a hand in creating them, but Mummy and Daddy have had very busy craft weekends. "David" might not win any prizes, but we know Helen did it (mostly) herself and I think that was actually the point.
