Day 23 A New Day Dawning

The coolness of the morning and the crispness of the air allowed for a little moon and sunrise together. Well a lot of moon and a little sunrise on the way back this morning.

It makes me wonder how we can sometimes miss things that are right in front of us.

Apparently we miss objects when our brain thinks the size of it is inconsistent with its surroundings. Our brain does this because it is designed to discount potential distractors, and maybe remind us to check our assumptions about what’s in front of us.

Don’t let Christmas distract you from giving yourself the gift of learning-it lasts a lot longer than chocolates and helps you look at your assumptions too!

And you never know it might just lead you to that one thing you've been looking for-something you love spending time on.
