Tawny Chick
A couple of weeks ago I blipped a Tawny frogmouth and today I returned to get a better look at the two chicks.
This family is in the inner Sydney suburb of Leichhardt, an unlikely place to find them, I would have thought.
Most people never see these birds, as they are so wonderfully camouflaged.
They look for all the world like a tree branch.
While looking for some details I came across a three minute video about a Hobart man who saves them.
