Butternut squash

Popped into town with M-i-Law to do some Christmas shopping. Managed to get most things on our list and had a good look round. We were ready to escape before it got too busy.

I love butternut squash but always end up with every knife in the house out when trying to peel and chop it. Luckily no blood was spilled this time. The squash was made into a very nice risotto with cumin, mushrooms and peas.
