YAY!! It's Raining!

At last, the forecasters have got it right, and it is raining! And better still, we have a heavy rain warning issued for our area for tomorrow, with more rain forecast for Thursday. Now our turnip seed planted about 3 weeks ago will germinate and grow, and the grass, which we are desperately short of, will now grow like mad. We are happy farmers tonight!

I took this photo while I was getting the cows in to milk this afternoon. You can see how dry it is by all the dust that is flying around from the cows walking to the cowshed. This dust is horrible, especially when on the quadbike - it gets in your eyes, up your nose and on your skin. It is disgusting! At least the rain will have settled all that dust down.
