Our Sunburnt Country

Today has been hotter than hell.

This is our poor Swamp...parched and dry...I thought it a strong contrast to the wintery days in the Southern Hemisphere.

I am happy to send you more sun but I don't think you want this much.

Last night however.......there was a gentle rain on the roof whilst falling to sleep....I don't think it lasted long though.
