Squirrel Blip Friday - winter solstice edition

Today winter began at 5:20 this afternoon with this being the shortest day I struggled when I got home get some good shots of some squirrels in poor lighting. This is one of the best ones I got today. With winter arriving it was a mild 7c earlier today with rain. Currently we have not had much snow in the past few weeks and not much in the forecast in the next week.

This squirrel took a couple of minutes to pose with his peanut and then quickly head to his nest.
