Say Cheese!

I went with my daughter and granddaughter today to have my granddaughter's portrait taken. I remember to this day taking my own children for portraits and sweating bullets trying to get everyone to cooperate.
So today I was prepared for anything and yet hopeful that our timing was right and she wasn't too tired or shy or hungry or just simply not wanting to be there. I put some Smartie's Candy in my pockets to be used for bribery just in case.
When I took this Blip she was sitting and looking at large computer screen with all the images the photographer took of her. That's right, success! She was wonderful. She was happy, social, and cooperative and even had some fun with it all. There were so many good shots to pick from. Taking photos with little children is a difficult job because they don't often have the attention span for more than a few minutes and you can't demand a smile or they tend to pull the cheesiest smiles they can.
When you can help the child to relax you get to capture some of their spirit. The more fun they have the better the pictures.
She had fun and we got great pictures!
