An alien in Norwich?
There was much interest in the office today, as to what was going on at cinema city. From the window by my desk we could see smoke and what looked like fake snow. From the ladies toilet window we could see screens with the BBC logo. After some googling, it would appear that Dr Who's tardis had made an impromptu (or perhaps planned) visit. At lunchtime we took a walk down (about a minutes walk from our office) to see what was going on. The BBC men encouraged us to take photos, and then took one of us. Apparently it was locked and 'the Dr' had the key....her whereabouts unknown. I guess there isn't just one tardis, but great to see it on its trip around the country.
I didn't get the opportunity to do any Christmas quizzing today, as there was still essential work for me to do, but I did manage to escape at just after 4. A group of us went to the pub for a few drinks before enjoying a curry in the excellent Ali Tandoori on Magdalene Street. At the same time as Jon was meeting with his own work colleagues for their Christmas meal!! It was a nice evening and when we had finished our meal, I said goodbye to my group and joined Jon. It was nice to meet his colleagues at last. We chatted a bit then headed home.
Mollie has done a great job with the baking today. A few other bits to do and now bed. A busy weekend ahead.
