Winter jobs...

...while most of the town are getting ready for the Festive Season.....
the maintenance chaps are continuing with “ the everyday”...
here we can see the gardening department are up early ......trimming and pruning the trees in the streets.
this is work for a whole team......not only the chap up the tree with the electric saw.....
but also the ‘mulching’ vehicle....into which all the branches, leaves and twigs are fed....to be ground down to be used as fertiliser for next spring ....
and the guys with the brooms who sweep away any remaining debris....
This is taking place throughout the village..
...’no parking’ signs are displayed, showing the dates when the work will happen...
