Hiding?

Not a lot doing today - well, this morning.
Once we picked up the monsters and got them home ……… they were great!
Amazing.

As usual after dropping the madness that is Squirrel off at gymnastics we headed to The Larder. When we walked in head chef was sitting in the office - giving out abuse and cheek to all (nothing new there then). It turns out he was barred  from the kitchen...… there were two chefs in there already and as everyone knows - too many chefs spoil the parsnip soup (it was delicious by the way).
I spent a few minutes letting all the staff (including Chef) and trainees chose their own spinning tops before taking some snaps of them as they worked.
Chef then came and joined us (barred from the office as well I think) until it was time to pay for some tray bakes and mince pies I had ordered. Then we had an argument over the price.
He told me it was free - I told him it wasn't.
He claimed it was because of all I did for the charity - I told him that he wasn't helping the charity
Unfortunately, he won (I had no way to get in to the till to leave cash).
But I will win in the end ……… I can donate anonymously.
