Let the (fun and) games begin

I now have sixteen straight days without work. It’s the most wonderful time of the year ...

Today was mostly spent interviewing and locking down the important stuff before escaping for the festive season. The centre of Guildford was gridlocked at lunchtime; "peace on Earth and goodwill to all men" clearly does not extend to anyone who tries to nick my parking space or get a fag paper’s worth of advantage when crossing the same busy junction. All felt very un-Christian.

The Girl Racer alas is having problems with post dental extraction infections and sore throats. It’s times like this you wish they were around the corner and not seven thousand miles away.

Lots to do at home - decorating and last minute Christmas stuff - but now I can take each day as it come at least for a couple of weeks ...
