Christmas Tree

The Community Challenge is for Christmas decorations around the world. The theme is decorated houses. There are no houses in this locality so I have put in our home for the last three weeks. This one comes from the Celebrity Solstice which is presently in the Tasman Sea, half way between NZ and Australia. The whole shop is lit up like a Christmas tree. They have nativity scenes and ginger bred houses and tinsel in a grand way. This tree is in the two story library near the internal ( glass) lifts so we see it every time we go up or down from our cabin on deck 10.

Today’s activities included a talk on the British Royal Family and browsing in the shops, (they have cheaper merchandise on deck 4 like blow up plastic ships, hats, clothes, handbags etc etc, and on deck 5 high end goodies like Rolex watches and Faberge, Tiffany jewellery and art works). Did some reading of my current book, three meals, a show with a band and singer of swing type music and accompanied Bob to a round the world wine tasting event ( yes I know I don’t drink wine...). Also got in a Nana nap before dinner. So much for my plans of going to the gym everyday. I failed that with a capital F.
