Wet Day

Work this morning then home to take Archie out on a muddy walk.
Then it was to Ikea. Sigh!
Having got away with not going to Milton Keynes last night I went today instead!!
We've been meaning to get Miss L a new mattress for ages. She's had hers since she went into a big bed at three. I've just spent ages checking through Blip to see when we bought them both proper beds and yes, unbelievably, Miss L was in her cot until she was almost four. [url=https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3784258]December 28th 2013[/url] to be precise!!! Ha ha, it was a big cot and the side was down so she could climb in and out!
Anyway, it's a crappy mattress - as I found out when I slept on it in August 2016 - and should have gone to the dump long ago. As I said in 2016 but clearly didn't do anything about it!!!
This morning Miss L came up stairs in tears to say that she'd wet the bed. She was mortified. She said she'd been dreaming that she was on the loo! Bless her!
She had a bath and we stripped the bed and put the mattress downstairs to go to the dump. Finally!!
So this afternoon it was off to Ikea for a new one.
And some ginger thins, some Daim bars, meatballs, picture frames and wrapping paper!!
