Last light

MrM went off to a practice session and on to do some shopping this afternoon, while I waited in for a parcel that failed to arrive. Damp and dark for most of the day, the sky started to clear as the sun was going down. Dare not leave the flat for fear of missing the postman, so took a shot or two through the kitchen window looking over the roof tops on the other side of the High Street.

Today marks the end of a rather stressful chapter - after almost exactly 23 months, the insurance claim for the accident has finally been settled. Without going to court, thank goodness! Hopefully I can put the whole incident behind me now. Still need to pluck up the courage to drive again though...
