Winter sunshine, downpours and rainbows...

The plan was that life would calm down once my brother arrived; how wrong was I! Left home at 8am and returned at 2pm, spending those intervening six hours continuously driving around Bath and Bristol, running a list of errands that got longer and longer by the minute. As the morning wore on, so my lurgy started to head back downhill, so rearranged plans to meet up with friends at the Après Ski Bar had to be abandoned yet again. So here you have the single photo that I took today, driving into Bath at the start of the day when the sun was blindingly low, shining through the stormy clouds...

Just for my own memory’s sake, the 19 stops that my brother and I made in those six hours!
