Work in progress!

Hubby is making biscotti to take to our friend's at the weekend. 
Then he takes chocolate along to melt so they can be dipped and eaten whilst the chocolate is still warm. 
Dark afternoon today.
Finished wrapping the last of the presents and stuck a load of Christmas cards on the kitchen cupboards. Running out of places to put them.   
We have quite a lot and I culled the list this year!  
I had a lovely morning catching up with two good friends. One is an old neighbour who moved 19 months ago. We were meeting in her retirement apartment. She moved there as it is secure for her husband who now has Alzheimer's. He knows who we are and is always pleased to see us. 
Then the three of us go into the lovely lounge area and this morning she had made mince pies, which were delicious.We had tea, coffee, and shortbread biscuits as well!  
A couple of hours later we came home.  
Off out this evening to see Lichfield Cathedral's Luxmuralis. A fantastic display of light. This year it is called 
"Peace on Earth"
