Pigeon

The size of this bird demonstrates how greedy pigeons tend to be round the feeder. They're good for hoovering up the spilled bird food but, along with magpies, they're just too large for my liking. This one reminds me of that good Jo Brand joke, "Nurse go and give Mr Smith a BDI". It's the way she tells it, or in this case does it.

Anyway, coffee with several friends this morning at I's house. A lovely festive gathering. Gladrags on later for a night out in Edinburgh with former colleagues. Very nice of them to invite me but I know I'll be anxiously looking at the ScotRail app to make sure I get home. Train misery still not concluded here.
