Chapter 2. Where One Street has 3 names ...

... or maybe 4.


According to people that have lived here much longer than I have, the street really has 3 names. Which are interchangeable, except for on the map and for the United States Postal Services. "It used to have 4 names!", said the Beloved who likes to mess with my head, but that was before US 12 was relocated, apparently, and I'm not even going to go there. *rolls eyes*

The Former Baptist Church, officially located on E. Michigan Avenue but maybe also on Main Street, Territorial Road and, why not, US 12-before-it-was-relocated, hasn't changed much on the outside but now houses a used book store (with a cat called Grimmsley) and the Village Players that I have never seen in action.

Heading further west, or maybe back east? I'll let the road decide.


ps. There's a Christmas tree behind the top window which looks fab in the dark.
pps. It was 62F today - almost 17C! Wth?
