baggy green....

...blimey! thought I as a young lad wandered into the local pool wearing this cap.
The 'baggy green' is a cricket cap worn by Australian Test cricketers since the turn of the 20th century and increasingly revered since the 1990s as a badge of cricketing honour.

The lad vanished off to the water slides and the family he was with said he at the grand old age of 11, is a super talented cricketer already in the sights of the powers that be as a future star of the sport.

He did however tell me this is a replica cap awarded to him at an event and he LOVES it...as it evident by much use!
