Mexican Food Fiesta
We do this thing called an Alpha Course here on Sunday nights. It's for people who are interested in learning more about spirituality and faith. One of the main parts of the night is dinner. Which is good for me, because I love to eat, and I love to eat with people that I really love. So it's a win/win for me.
But tonight was like winning the Superbowl. My roommate Sarah was in charge and it was Mexican Food night. She cooked for two days (authentic Tex-Mex in Berlin is not easy to produce!) The MOST impressive thing she pulled off were these tortillas. I swear she made 100 by hand.
Delicious.
In other news it snowed all day. Attack snow - the kind that heads straight to your eyes and eyelashes. It is beautiful outside though, it looks as if God took a sifter and powdered the city. It's such a lovely thing to look at snow. It makes everything so clean and lovely. It's as if a city dusted in snow becomes a completely different place than it was moments before all concrete and pavement.
Even more lovely when viewed while eating a fajita.
