Summer rain.....
....continues, leaving droplets clinging to heuchera stems and flowers.
Quite cool today, a mere 14C and the rain won't let up. The newspaper tells me North Canterbury is experiencing lush green pastures, weather creating problems for hay makers with long wet grasses which in turn if not cut and we get a dry spell could become a fire risk.
In my garden I'm going to have to prune back camellia's and rhododendrons, pull out Japanese anemones and weeds which have gone rampant all because of the prolific growth from summer rain which actually some days feels more like winter.
Makes for great photography though, knew there'd be a plus somewhere :))
Happy Thursday everyone :)
